Hypoglycemia – Causes and Symptoms

You have dizziness, palpitations, tremors, fainting, headache, feeling hungry, sweat, changing mood state, you become aggressive? These are some of the symptoms that induce a fall of sugar in the blood.

Hypoglycemia occurs when you no longer have the needed energy source, when glucose in the blood decreases. Usually this occurs in case of diabetes, liver disease, in women suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Healthy individuals may suffer from bouts of hypoglycemia, the cause could be established by a poor diet or insufficient vitamins. Hypoglycemia often occurs in women who hold a poor diet, that starves herself or hold a prolonged diet. Low blood sugar occurs due to excessive fatigue and too much stress.

What to do? When you have some of the above symptoms this means that blood glucose levels fell. In this case it is recommended to take it easy, it is recommended to take 1-2 teaspoons of honey, 1-2 teaspoons of sugar added in plain water or tea. Within minutes you should feel better.

In case of a person with diabetes, are recommended 2-3 glucose tablets, or a fruit drink, or a tea sweetened with sugar. In rare cases is recommended intravenously injected glucose.
